SYMPHONIACS The Very First Japan Show 2019

November 15, 2019 (Fri.) - November 15, 2019 (Fri.)

An international group of young classical virtuosos based in Berlin, Germany, SYMPHONIACS is currently attracting worldwide attention for its futuristic classical-meets-club mix.

The members of SYMPHONIACS have studied classical music from early childhood, graduated from top conservatories and perform regularly around the world as soloists and in celebrated orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and many others.

With their fresh and unconventional way of presenting both classical music and club music, SYMPHONIACS unites all audiences, from classical connoisseurs to pop music lovers.

The three violinists, two cellists, one pianist and one electronic artist from Berlin, New York, Vienna, Moscow, Copenhagen and Budapest bring together two genres that at first glance might seem an unlikely pair, but with the project's visionary sound, century-old tradition is awakened and given new life.

Electronic artist Andy Leomar directs the ensemble while completing the musical experience using sequencers, synthesizers and drum machines to add electronic sounds and beats.

Re-interpreting Avicii, Daft Punk and Coldplay with classical instrumentation and remixing Bach, Vivaldi and Beethoven with electronic sounds and beats, SYMPHONIACS is creating a futuristic new classical-electro sound.
