We deeply apologize to all parties concerned especially those customers who bought tickets and have been looking forward to the artist’s shows.
In September 2018, Avril announced that she had been struggling since she was diagnosed with Lyme disease in December 2014 and released a new song “Head Above Water,” which she wrote in the midst of the hardship.
In February of the following year, she released her sixth album, "Head Above Water" and showed the world that she made come back. In March, she came to Japan for the promotion and delivered unchanged powerful voice to Japanese fans through music TV programs and fan events.
The 2020 World Tour will be held in Europe from March and will land here in Japan after a total of 16 performances.
The concert by Avril, who has overcome the pernicious disease and has revived, will surely be a precious performance in Japan.
