ME-GUMI, a pop rock band led by Tatsuya Sugawara, who provided a cover version of "Black Hole Baby" as a bonus track for the domestic release of "World Wide Pop", will perform in Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka of Superorganism's Japan tour!
Performed at Fuji Rock '22 with their 2nd album "World Wide Pop", which featured superlative guests such as CHAI, Stephen Malkmus, and Gen Hoshino, Superorganism is going to have a 5-city nationwide tour!
As superorganism hit the scene in 2017, the band's fearless, "post-everything" aesthetic, which mixes a variety of electronic music, has attracted the support of artists such as Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Jehnny Beth of Savages, and Gorillaz, quickly attracted music fans from around the world.
Superorganism, who have gained immense popularity here in Japan with a sold-out five-city tour and appearances at Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic, released their long-awaited second album "World Wide Pop" since their 2018 debut album. Now their "World Wide Pop Tour" in 5 cities is decided!
CHAI, a mutual ally of Superorganism, who respects each other through their participation in each other's music and overseas tours together, will be performing on the first day of Superorganism‘s Japan tour in Tokyo!
The performance in Tokyo, which was co-starred in the 2019 Japan tour, was sold out on the same day! Now the encore performance will be back! Please look forward to the two bands, who also collaborated on the 2nd album "World Wide Pop", performing on a stage full of pop and humor!
